Vendor/Contractors
Contractor/Vendor/Service parking permits are issued according to space availability. These permits are for use by companies providing service or goods to the University. Persons requiring permits must read and complete the application, online or in-person. The application may be completed and submitted online in advance, or if needed immediately, in-person at the Parking Office. In some cases it may be necessary for our department to confer with the University department / Project Manager contracting the service or goods prior to the granting of permits.
At the time of purchase, you should be prepared to provide the following information:
- Company Name
- Vehicle make, model and license plate
- Vehicle driver and owner name
- Company’s Banner ID
- ECU Departmental contact and/or project manager
- Location of work site
- Service/project start and end dates
- Number of hangtags needed if individual vehicles cannot be registered online.
The contracting company / vendor can complete a permit request form online. Form will be submitted to the Parking Office for verification and an email will be sent regarding approval and purchasing process. If needed immediately, the contractor/vendor should visit the Parking and Transportation office located at 305 East 10th Street, Greenville.
Yearly Parking Authorization (must submit vendor/contractor form each year)
Annual Contractor/Vendor/Service Providers can secure parking authorization by registering vehicle(s) and making payment either online or in-person. The Vendor/Contractor Form requires a signature from the ECU project manager or representative. Year-round parking applications will be reviewed and may be allowed the option of purchasing monthly, quarterly, or annual permits.

Temporary Parking
If you will only need a parking for one week or less, you will not be required to obtain a signature from the ECU project manager or department representative who contracted your company. However, you will still need to complete an application. A person will only be able to renew weekly parking once. Any additional time required will need a signature from the ECU project manager or representative.
For companies requiring parking for more than a week, it will be required to obtain a signature from the ECU project manager or departmental representative who contracted the service or goods.
Any outstanding debits on Contractor/Vendor/Service accounts must be paid in full before parking authorization may be purchased. If hangtags are purchased in lieu of vehicle license plate registration, the hangtag must be displayed in an appropriate manner at all times.
Contractor/Vendor/Service vehicles will only be authorized to park in the spaces deemed available by parking staff during the review of the application form.

NOTE: Contractor/Vendor/Service Provider are not for use by current faculty, staff, or students in lieu of the permit for which they are eligible.
