ECU Parking Forms

Special designations and permit types are available for specific uses.  See below for instructions on how to apply for certain designations to add to your plate-to-permit. Eligibility requirements apply.

  • ADA Accessible:  You will register for your regular zone, and contact the Parking Office to complete the ADA designation on your registration. See web page for required paperwork.
  • Courtesy Permit:  Specific criteria must be met in order to have Courtesy Permit (CP) designation added to your registration.  You will register for your regular zone. An annual application must then be made by your supervisor or designee using the Courtesy Permit Application form online. The Parking Office will review forms before the CP designation will be made.
  • Front Plate Identifier Request Form. Complete this form if you wish to purchase a front license plate identifier in order to back into a parking space or pull through. License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology requires clear view of your license plate to avoid a citation. Allow 6-8 weeks for availability and pick-up notice. Cost is $10. Availability is to TBD.
  • Retiree/Emeritus:  You will first complete the  Retired Faculty Application online. The Parking Office will follow-up with you regarding your permit. You are not registered to park until completing this process. See here for greater detail.
  • Vendor / Contractor: The contracting company / vendor can complete a permit request form online. Form will be submitted to the Parking Office for verification and an email will be sent regarding approval and purchasing process. Immediate requests can be made in person at the Parking Office, 305 E. 10th St.
  • Permit Cancellation Form:  If you wish to cancel your vehicle registration and permit purchase, because you no longer need to park, or you purchased multiple permits by mistake, please complete the Permit Cancellation Form.  Refunds will be reported from the system to the parking office after 24 hours, and will be completed as quickly as possible. Some delays may occur during heavy registration volume. For urgent needs, please call, (252) 328-6294.
