Football Parking
General Parking Information for Home Football Games:
Student & Staff/Faculty Parking Adjustments for Friday & Saturday of Home Football Weekends
Students and staff should always check their ECU email for announcements of dates/times that adjustments are being made before home football games. The following parking and traffic adjustments are typically made due to ECU Pirate home football games.
- The D Zone Lots on Curry Court and around the Carol Belk Building are closed to incoming vehicles on the date/time announced. D zone permit holders may park in A1 spaces on the main campus or in B1 spaces on Reade Street during these periods.
- All Cars Must Be Moved From the Curry Court and Belk Building Lots by the Specified Date/Time, or A Towing Establishment Will relocate them.
- C Zone, and the B1 Lots on College Hill Drive must be cleared of vehicles by the date/time announced. C zone permit holders, and those impacted by clearing B1 lots and A1 spaces, may park in A1 on the main campus or B1 spaces on Reade Street during these periods.
- Lots and Zones Listed Above Must Be Cleared of Vehicles by the Date/Time Specified for Each Game, Typically 7 PM on Fridays for a Saturday Game. Vehicles Not Moved by That Time Are Subject to Towing. Vehicles Can Be Moved to Alternate Parking Areas Beginning at 12 Noon on Fridays for a Saturday Game.
- As always, vehicles cannot park in reserved spaces, ADA spaces (handicapped spaces), unless authorized by our office, maintenance/service areas, no parking zones, or fire zones.
- Pay station parking spaces must be kept activated. The Student Center Garage will continue to operate normally at $2/hour.
- All Cars Must Be Returned to Their Respective Registered Zones Before 6 AM, Monday After a Saturday Football Game, or Are Subject to Towing.
- If your vehicle is towed, contact the ECU Police for relocation information, (252) 328-6787. [Map of Relocation Lots]
Alternative Parking:
At designated times, when making adjustments for home football games:
- D zone permit holders may relocate their vehicles to the A1 spaces on Main Campus or B1 spaces on Reade Street (not B1 on College Hill, as this lot is used for game day Student Pirate Club parking).
- C zone and B1 zone permit holders will be allowed to park in the A1 zone spaces on the main campus.
- A2 zones will remain only accessible to A2 permit holders. B2 zones remain only accessible to B2 permit holders.

Student Pirate Club:
- The B1 lot at the bottom of College Hill is designated for the Student Pirate Club. If you are a Student Pirate Club member, you must obtain a Student Pirate Club permit from the Pirate Club office and have it properly displayed on your vehicle. A Student Pirate Club parking pass is needed to park in the B1 lot at the bottom of College Hill on home games.
- If you are a member of the Student Pirate Club and have a D permit, you still have to move your car out of the Curry Court and Belk Building lots.
- The Pirate Club issues Pirate Club and Student Pirate Club game day parking permits. Parking and Transportation Services does not issue Pirate Club or Student Pirate Club parking credentials. Pirate Club members should contact the Pirate Club at 252-737-4540 with any questions.
- All cars must be returned to their respective zones by 6 AM on Mondays after a Saturday game and by 7:30 AM on Mondays after a Sunday game. Friday for a Thursday night game.
Other Game Day Information:
Road Closures 3 Hours Before Kick-Off:
- 14th Street from Charles Boulevard to Elm Street.
- College Hill Drive Entrance at 10th Street.
Three hours before kick off, 14th Street from Charles Blvd. to Elm Street will be closed to all incoming traffic. Vehicles will be allowed to exit but will not be allowed to re-enter, even if you have an ECU permit.
The College Hill Drive entrance at 10th Street will be closed. Only Student Pirate Club game day parking passes, and A2 permit vehicles will be allowed to enter.
Due to street closures, drivers are advised to take an alternate route at least one road farther from the athletic complex than their usual route. For example:
- Those who usually travel on Charles Boulevard should use Evans Street.
- Those who usually travel on 10th Street should use Fifth Street.
- Those who usually travel on Greenville Boulevard should use Red Banks Road.
Game Day Visitors / Public Parking
- Watch for the announcement of parking lot opening time for home football games.
- Parking lots on Curry Court and around the Carol Belk Building are for ECU Pirate Club members (non-student). A parking pass is required; however, a limited number of public parking spaces will be available at $20 each in this area, first-come, first-served.
- Visitors needing Handicapped/ADA parking may park in the A1 zone spaces in front of Brewster and Christenbury on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a $20 parking fee for this lot. Shuttle service to and from the stadium is provided to individuals using this lot, beginning 2 hours before kick off, and ending 1 hour after the game.
- Due to space availability, visitor permits will NOT be sold for the A2 College Hill area for game day weekends. Visitors may park free of charge in the B1 zones on Reade Street on game-day weekends and must be moved by 6 AM on Monday for Saturday games or by the time announced on Friday for Thursday night games.
- The Main Campus Student Center parking garage off of 10th Street is a convenient walk to the stadium. Parking is $2/hour. No tailgating is permitted in the garage.
- Visitors parking in Uptown Greenville may wish to check for a privately-run shuttle that typically begins 3 hours before game time and runs until 2 hours after the game.

Ride Sharing Services
East Carolina Athletics has established a pickup and drop-off point for Uber and Lyft on Game Day Saturdays.
Before kickoff, during, and after the game, ride-sharing drop-off will be at 14th Street between Elm St. and Berkley Rd. Ride sharing and personal vehicles, including golf carts & low-speed vehicles, will NOT be allowed access beyond campus roadblocks without proper credentials. This policy applies to all ride-sharing services.
