Faculty/Staff
If you would like to purchase your parking, please log into Pirate Port.
While we understand that many faculty and staff members are still working remotely, you must renew your A1 parking permit to maintain your designated parking space. Failure to renew your permit for the fiscal year will result in the loss of your space and your placement at the bottom of the A1 waiting list. At that point, you will only be eligible to purchase a B1 permit.
For those who work remotely and only visit campus occasionally, alternative parking options are available. You may purchase a temporary permit from the parking office, or use the pay-to-park option in the parking garage or at designated metered zones.
Parking on the ECU campus is only authorized through a Plate to Permit System and all vehicles must be registered, and fee paid for valid ECU parking.
Parking permits can be paid for with a credit card or payroll deduction if you are a permanent full-time or part-time employee.
Payroll Deduction Schedule
- If you purchase your permit between 8:30 a.m. on the 1st and 8:30 a.m. on the 15th of the month, your first payroll deduction will be a double deduction taken on the 30th of that same month.
- If you purchase your permit between 8:30 a.m. on the 15th and 8:30 a.m. on the 1st of the following month, your first payroll deduction will be a double deduction taken on the 15th of the next month.
- Deductions are spread over 22 pay periods within the fiscal year and are always post-tax.
If you have additional questions regarding parking, please contact our office at 252-328-6294 or via email at parking@ecu.edu.
