Student 2022-2023 Permits
We all know that Covid-19 has impacted our customers and the university community, as it has parking and many other operations on campus. There are some important changes related to the parking permit renewal process that you will want to read about below.
All Dorm/Resident Students will only be allowed to register 1 vehicle. Each student is allowed 1 vehicle per permit, per account. If any vehicle changes need to be made, the student needs to contact our office at 252-328-6294 or visit in person at 305 East 10th Street.
The annual permit fee will INCREAE for the 2022-23 academic year all orders will be placed online through Pirate Port and it will be active immediately. You will NOT receive a physical permit.

How to purchase your annual permit and register your vehicle(s):
- Visit ECU PiratePort: https://pirateport.ecu.edu/portal/. You will need your Pirate ID and passphrase.
- Click the Parking & Transportation application or type Parking & Transportation in the search box.
- Click the Manage Account button to update or verify your information.
- Please include a valid telephone number.
- You will need your license plate number, vehicle year, make, model and color.
- If everything is up to date, click Parking Portal on the top left hand side. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Get Permits and follow the directions.
