Steam Line Project

Greetings Student Pirate,

The timeline for the next phase of the steam line project has been moved up and will begin earlier than previously scheduled. The project will begin this coming weekend, Saturday November 11. This project will have a direct impact on A2 parking, specifically the gravel A2 lot adjacent to the steam plant.

The gravel A2 parking lot adjacent to the steam plant will be closed for the duration of the project starting this Friday, November 10. ALL VEHICLES MUST BE RELOCATED TO OTHER A2 PAKRING LOTS BY 12:00PM FRIDAY NOVEMBER 10. P&T has placed our electronic sign in the lot displaying the information regarding the lot closure as well as other barricades in anticipation of the closure.

THE PARKING LOT WILL CLOSE FRIDAY NOVEMBER 10 AT 12:00PM.

With the addition of the Stadium A2 lots, there is more than enough A2 space available to accommodate all A2 permit holders during this phase of the steam project.

DO NOT PARK IN ANY OTHER AREAS EXCEPT THE A2 ZONES. Student parking is prohibited in the B1 surface lots as well as the B1 gravel lot adjacent to the railroad tracks on 14th St. Students parked in these B1 faculty / staff zones are subject to citations and or tows, so please remain in your assigned zone.

Information regarding this project along with maps of the impacted area can be located on the map below. For more information or questions regarding the project or the lot closure, please contact our office at 252-328-6294 or via email at parking@ecu.edu.

Thank you for your cooperation.
