ECU Parking and Transportation Services continues to adapt and adjust, just as you are, during these challenging times related to the COVID-19 virus. Below is some vital information regarding vehicle registration and permit purchasing for the spring 2021 semester for new and returning students.

Please remember that parking on campus is by permit only and vehicles must have a valid ECU permit displayed at all times.

Permits for new and returning students will be available for purchase beginning Monday, January 11 at 8:00a.m. Specific zone sales are on a first-come, first-served basis.

All vehicle registrations and permit purchases are conducted online via Pirate Port or by phone call only. New and returning students can purchase permits online through Pirate Port by clicking the Parking and Transportation Services tab or by calling the Parking and Transportation Office at 252-328-6294.

Permit purchases made by 2:00 pm weekdays will be available for pick up the next business day, between the hours of 9:00 am-12:00 pm & 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Parking and Transportation building, located at 305 E. 10th St. (next to McDonald’s).

Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, occupancy will be limited and face masks are required. The online Pirate Port option is strongly encouraged.
